My friend was visiting Branson a few weeks ago and informed me that it was open again under the name "Animal Paradise". This was my favorite place to visit and living just 2.5 hours from it, I visited frequently. I was deeply saddened when I found out that Exotic Animal Paradise was closing back in 2006. Especially when the new owners get done renovating! It ended up being a great experience and I would recommend giving it a try. My kids (3 and 8) got a huge kick out of it and we were all laughing and having a great time. Be sure to throw the food away from the car if you dont want the goats to climb on your car and scratch the paint. There were tons of animals out there, and they literally come right up to your window and stick their heads right inside the car! It was hilarious. After a few minutes, we were pleasantly suprised by all of the wild life. We then got in our car and headed out into the 'zoo" section. It was practically empty, and if there were animals, you couldn't or wouldn't want to pet them! So that was a waste of time. We bought 2 bags of "pellets" to feed the animals and started out at the "petting zoo". I think it cost us about $23 for a carload with the coupon. We had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon, so we decided to give it a shot. Apparently there are new owners and they are "renovating" It looks like a dump, but you can tell they are improving it. When we first pulled up, I told my husband there was no way we were staying! We got up the courage and went in to check it out.
